What is gochampaign.com?
The gochampaign.com web portal is an online gateway to the pulse of the Champaign County community. The web site provides local news, articles, a calendar of events, a searchable marketplace of businesses, local websites and community discussions all provided by your fellow neighbors in Champaign County. It has been designed to bring all of the disparate local information sources around the county into one place on the web.
What are contributions?
Volunteer contributions are the backbone keeping the community spirit of gochampaign.com alive. All content provided on gochampaign.com comes from volunteer contributions. Contributions take on a variety of forms. Although this includes monetary donations, the web site has primarily been designed to allow members to submit articles, events, company listings, and web site links, participate in discussions or even suggest opinion polls. The entire site is driven by participation from the community.
Who can contribute?
Contributing to gochampaign.com is open to any resident of Champaign County or regular participant in the local community. If you live in Champaign County, simply sign-up, activate your account and login.
If you live outside of Champaign County, Ohio, but regularly participate in the community in some capacity, you will need to sign-up and contact the gochampaign.com accounts administrator for special permission. Please indicate how you participate in the Champaign County community and your gochampaign.com login name.
How do I contribute?
Once you are able to login, you will have access to the "Contribute" button (located in the upper-right of the page). Clicking the "Contribute" button will provide a menu of contributing options that will allow you to submit articles, press releases, events, and so forth. There are no ongoing commitments for contributing, no fees and no limit to how many times you can contribute.
What can I contribute?

Submit how-to guides, product reviews, company press releases, republish organization newsletter articles, community announcements, opinion editorials, historical interest articles, etc. - Events
Submit a special event for your company, non-profit, government office, church, school sports or concerts, etc. Do NOT submit birthdays, anniversaries, and other personal events. - Marketplace
Submit your company name, address, phone number, website and the category that best fits your organization. - Polls
Suggest an opinion poll to see how the community-at-large feels towards an issue.
How do I get help using gochampaign.com?
You can contact the gochampaign.com webmaster by using the Feedback link at the bottom of every page of the site. There you can send a message with questions comments and critiques about the portal.
