Hometown Harvest: A Monument Square District Event

Visit downtown Urbana on Saturday, October, 24, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for Hometown Harvest, sponsored by the Monument Square District.

A great way for the whole family to celebrate fall, including music, mimes, straw maze for the kids, storytelling, kids' activity tent and great food. You can see how kettle corn, and apple butter are made.  Also you can have a family portrait taken with fall surroundings .

Visit www.monumentsquaredistrict.org to download entry forms for two Hometown Harvest contests: Make a Scarecrow and Pumpkin Cook-off, to make the best pumpkin dish.

Also throughout the day, Hometown Harvest will feature pottery, yarn spinning, pumpkin and gourd carving, square dance demonstrations, an antique tractor display around the square and vendors from the Champaign County Farmers'  Market  downtown.

Vendors Wanted
