The Boy Scouts of Troop 88 based in Christiansburg are on a mission to help our county. The Scouts are sponsoring a blood drive on Tuesday, July 28, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Christiansburg United Methodist Church, 9 S. Main St.
Balloon Fest: A Weekend Fully Inflated with Free Entertainment

Fill a Plate to Fight Homelessness
Citizens National Bank, Urbana University and Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Services of West Liberty present the first "Fill a Plate for Homelessness" on Thursday, November 8, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Champaign County Community Center, 1512 South US Highway 68. For a $5 donation, you can fill your plate with homemade casserole dishes.
AKC Dog Show Coming to Champaign County
The Champaign County Fairgrounds is the place to be for dog lovers on October 12-14. The Mad River Kennel Club presents three all breed dog shows to benefit Pilot Dogs of Columbus, a non-profit organization designed to provide assistant dogs to the blind.
